I'm sure it's nothing to do with a huge pay packet.
I so wanted to play Gears on my PS4.
But now the big question is what will Epic give me to play on my PS4?
Interesting question. I only have one PS4 so I cannot compare. But my 360 turns off in 2 seconds while my PS4s white light flashes for 30 seconds or so before finally turning off.
My ISP is 60MB fibre optic and runs like lightning. I don't have any issues with XBL, iPlayer, Netflix etc. As this is my first experience of PSN I just thought it was PS4 teething issues. I'll try changing the cable position in my router.
When you click on the furthest left icon. The one that lets you download games, demos and PS+.
Sometime I click it and the screen will turn blue for ages before it changes to show Killzone, Fifa etc.
1. It takes way too long to turn off.
2. Controller battery life sucks. I know I'm pretty unique here but I'd prefer batteries like the 360. So I can just have a spare set on charge all the time.
3. Getting PSN to open does seem to take a random amount of time, from instant to 2-3 minutes.
4. Not sure how easy the interface will be to navigate once I have dozens of games.
But none of these are deal breakers, I'm happy I jumped from 360 to P...
Nobody knows because nobody has finished downloading it yet.
Without the shoving there would be no need to catch up.
People wanting a service that can deliver 4k and PSNow will force your provider to up their game.
If you can go with Virgin Media they are by far the best.
A bad game cannot be saved by good graphics.
A bad looking game can be saved by good gameplay.
However a good looking and good playing game can be ruined by having a WTF story. (I'm looking at you capcom)
Not sure why but it makes me think of Mass Effect.
That's what I thought.
Check out how awesome I am at being humble.
My humbleness know no bounds!
One small issue I have is the length of time it take to properly turn it off.
My TV and PS4 are on the same power switch and when I decide its bed time I select power off on the PS4 and then flick the power switch on my wall as I would with my 360.
But while the 360 powers off in 2 seconds it takes about 30 for the PS4 to shut down.
If you turn off the power before the 30 seconds is up you get a lovely message explaining that you're an idiot the ...
Or just do it with a Scottish accent.
Because my Kinect has never understood a word I've said.
or
'Caus ma Kinect canny underston a singel word a say.....ya bas.
Its hard to say.
Because it takes skill to shoot down another plane there is a great deal of satisfaction out of getting it right. Like how getting a kill in Halo is harder than COD.
Maybe its because i'm getting older but I prefer shooters where all the work is done BEFORE you pull the trigger. i.e. getting into the mind of your target and know what he's going to do and where he's going to go before he does. Then BAM I open up with the 20mm.
Why o why
I'm one of the 10% then.
I find my 360 and PS4 look like a lovely couple sitting there next to each other with their power cables entwined.
War Thunder.
I was just about to say this.
The 360 on the other hand is soooo simple. You just unclip the battery pack then clip it back in. I've been doing it for years while watching videos and it takes about half a second.
Damn that's cool. Both the movie viewing and the internet. I didn't know it could do that.
Now it just needs to play movies off my PCs HDD like my 360 and I'll be one happy camper.

Yes, I use the PS3 media centre and Serviio on my 360. It doesn't seem to work with my PS4
I imagine it works well for the French.
Only things if find a bit poor is the inability to stream movies and music from my PC.
And youtube won't work.
So I have to turn on my 360 for those.
If they take the Gears 3 gameplay. Then just add a ton of new maps, upgrade the graphics and include Horde then I will buy a XB1.
